BIW was founded in 1971 and is a medium-sized company with over 450 members of staff and a turnover of in excess of 64 million euros. As a leading provider of silicone and textile glass products. BIW has a variety of tested materials based on silicone, liquid silicone and textile glass for the household device sector. A wide range of customer requirements with regard to colour, hardness and mechanical properties, as well as resistances to media such as steam and grease, can be implemented by means of the own compound development and mixture preparation. Alongside protective and insulating hoses made from a combination of technical textiles and their multi-faceted enhancements, silicone materials and low density silicone foam as well as moulded silicone parts are also included in the BIW manufacturing program. The large range of ready-made items offers the opportunity to supply complete components.
